It is a regular thing for many Icelandic fishermen to visit Vifilsstadavatn (few minutes away from Reykjavik city) when the fishing season starts formally. Fishermen showing their flyboxes after the flytying effort of the winter and discussion the upcoming fishing season. The lakes in Svinadalur, Geitarbergsvatn, Þorisstadavatn and Eyrarvatn is also a great option for tomorrow since there is no ice on the lakes after this unique worm winter.
